Volleyball Game Preview: Hettinger/Scranton Black Devils vs. Mott-Regent Wildfire

Hettinger/Scranton is 8-2 against Mott-Regent since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Black Devils will square off against the Wildfire at 8:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Thursday, Hettinger/Scranton didn't have quite enough to beat Belfield and fell 3-2. The Black Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Mott-Regent came up short against Glen Ullin/Hebron on Thursday and fell 3-1.

Mott-Regent's loss dropped their record down to 12-5-1. As for Hettinger/Scranton, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11-2.

Hettinger/Scranton beat Mott-Regent 3-1 in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Black Devils since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
