Baseball Recap: Morton Ranch Victorious

Morton Ranch let Tomas stack four runs on them in the second inning on Thursday but luckily Morton Ranch prevailed anyway. The Mavericks had just enough and edged out the Gators 8-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Mavericks have posted since February 21, 2025.

Morton Ranch's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Tomas, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Morton Ranch will take on Channelview in a tournament on Friday. As for Tomas, they will be taking part in a tournament against Waller at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
