Niagara's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past the Saint Thomas Aquinas Cavaliers 3-0. The Badgers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cavaliers, too.

While Niagara won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-18, 25-21.

Alyssa Hedmark paced Niagara's offense, picking up five kills. Hedmark got some help from Elesia Sweig and her nine assists. Sweig was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Niagara is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. As for Saint Thomas Aquinas, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Niagara will host Coleman at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Saint Thomas Aquinas will be paying especially close attention to the Badgers' contest: after the Badgers face off against the Cougars, they'll take on Saint Thomas Aquinas again at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
