Volleyball Recap: Washington's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Washington waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Paw Paw Pirates.

Kaylee Robinson paced Washington's offense, picking up eight kills. Robinson got some help from Della Brown and her 15 assists. Makenna Stovall controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Washington's victory bumped their record up to 6-13-3. As for Paw Paw, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Washington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-1 draw against Windber on the 27th. As for Paw Paw, they will be playing at home against Hancock at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
