Softball Recap: Warren Easton Takes a Loss

Warren Easton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 20-14 to the Metairie Park Country Day Cajuns. Even if the Fighting Eagles couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Warren Easton's loss dropped their record down to 1-5-1. As for Metairie Park Country Day, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Coming up, Warren Easton is taking a road trip to challenge Archbishop Chapelle at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Metairie Park Country Day, they will host St. Katharine Drexel at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
