Volleyball Recap: Alpine Has No Trouble Against Fort Davis

Alpine won the last time they faced Fort Davis and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bucks put the hurt on the Indians with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bucks.

While Alpine might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Fort Davis scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-18, 25-19.

Naida Morris had an outrageously good game as she had 41 assists and four aces. That's the most assists she has posted since back in August. Another player making a difference was Taryn Hardin, who had 11 kills and seven digs.

The win got Alpine back to even at 12-12. As for Fort Davis, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Coming up, Alpine will be playing at home against Tornillo at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fort Davis, they will face off against Trinity at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
