Prospect Mountain waltzed into their match on Monday with 15 straight wins... but they left with 16. They were the clear victors by a 16-8 margin over the Trinity Pioneers. The Timberwolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by eight runs or more this season.

Sophia Bowman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned (and three unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up nine Ks.

On the hitting side, Tori Christie was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Alexis Wilson was another key player, going 3-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.

Prospect Mountain always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .634. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Trinity only posted an OBP of .400.

Prospect Mountain's win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Trinity, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.
