If Linton-Stockton wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Warren Central, they should've done a better job of containing Denell Jacobs. The Warren Central Warriors put the hurt on the Linton-Stockton Miners with a sharp 55-31 victory on Friday thanks in part to Jacobs, who went 11 of 14 on her way to 30 points and four steals. Jacobs is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Warren Central is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26.8 points. As for Linton-Stockton, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-6 record.

Warren Central will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mt. Vernon at 7:30 p.m. on January 14th. Linton-Stockton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
