Basketball Recap: Liberty Now 6-1 over Last Seven Games

Liberty won against Kearney last Wednesday with 50 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Liberty Blue Jays enjoyed a cozy 50-33 victory over the North Kansas City Hornets. While the Blue Jays didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-9), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Liberty is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for North Kansas City, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-6.

Liberty will have a chance to go back-to-back against North Kansas City: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
