Gaby Leon Game Report: @ Sierra

Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Gaby Leon: she recorded her first sack on Tuesday and we're guessing she's looking for more. She also made five total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defended two passes in addition to snagging an interception as Manteca fell to Sierra 13-6. We hope Leon's good performance is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Even though Leon couldn't lead Manteca over Sierra, she won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sadly, Leon's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Buffaloes' five-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, Leon and the Buffaloes surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Thursday's match.
