Soccer Recap: Rancho Solano Prep Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Rancho Solano Prep can now relate to. They lost 9-2 to the Scottsdale Preparatory Academy Spartans on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 114th, while the Spartans are ranked 25th).

Rancho Solano Prep has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season. As for Scottsdale Preparatory Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Rancho Solano Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Scottsdale Preparatory Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 4-2 win against Arete Prep on the 15th.
