Baseball Recap: Snowflake's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Snowflake came tearing into Monday's match with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Winslow Bulldogs a 10-0 shutout. Considering the Lobos have won nine games by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Aaden Coor was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Kenyan Bryant, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

Snowflake always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .593. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Winslow only posted an OBP of .222.

Snowflake pushed their record up to 18-6 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Winslow, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-20-1.

As of now, neither Snowflake nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
