Back in December of 2023, Moravian Prep faced Millbrook in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Moravian Prep came out on top in a nail-biter against Millbrook and snuck past 65-62. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Moravian Prep has posted yet this season.
Meanwhile, even though Varsity Opponent scored an imposing 96 points on Thursday, Lab University Prep still came out on top. Lab University Prep slipped by Varsity Opponent 97-96. The win made it back-to-back wins for Lab University Prep.
Lab University Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from DeMarco Reynolds, who scored 26 points. Reynolds hasn't dropped below 15points for six straight games. Antwan Corbin was another key contributor, scoring 19 points.
Moravian Prep's win bumped their record up to 16-1. As for Lab University Prep, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.
