Baseball Recap: Fasman Yeshiva vs. Rochelle Zell Jewish Tigers

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fasman Yeshiva). They blew past the Rochelle Zell Jewish Tigers 18-2 on Sunday. Fans of Fasman Yeshiva have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Ari Joe Lefton was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI.

In other batting news, Fasman Yeshiva got a massive performance out of Yakir Schwartz, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
