Plainview is a perfect 10-0 against North Sand Mountain since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bears will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bison at 4:30 p.m. North Sand Mountain took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Plainview, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Plainview turned things around against Good Hope on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Raiders 7-6.

Meanwhile, North Sand Mountain suffered their closest loss since April 12, 2025 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Collinsville by a score of 3-1. The Bison have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jackson Burgess was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

The victory got Plainview back to even at 3-3. As for North Sand Mountain, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
