Soccer Game Preview: Concord vs. Keene

The Concord Crimson Tide will head out on the road to face off against the Keene Blackbirds at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Concord managed to slip by Nashua South the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Crimson Tide lost 5-1 to the Purple Panthers on Monday. Concord's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Keene came up short against Bedford on Tuesday, falling 4-1. Keene have struggled against Bedford recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Keene's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5-1. As for Concord, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7-1.

Concord might still be hurting after the 5-1 defeat they got from Keene in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Crimson Tide avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
