Reedy extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Paige Hawkinson. The Lions came out on top against the Lone Star Rangers by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday thanks in part to Hawkinson, who had 20 assists and 11 digs. She has been hot, having posted 14 or more assists the last eight times she's played.

Reedy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-20, 25-21, 25-11.

Despite the loss, Lone Star still got an impressive performance from Tilah Perez, who had 26 digs and six assists.

Reedy's victory bumped their record up to 19-10. As for Lone Star, their loss ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 17-12.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Reedy is set to take on their familiar foe Newman Smith at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lone Star will face off against rival Turner at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
