Softball Recap: Eastern Tech Takes a Loss

Eastern Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 10-9 heartbreaker at the hands of the Perry Hall Gators. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Gators this season, with their most recent loss being a 13-8 defeat back in March.

Eastern Tech's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Perry Hall, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-5 record.

Looking ahead, Eastern Tech will face off against Dundalk at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Owls have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.1 runs per game on average), something the Mavericks will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Perry Hall, they will square off against Towson on Monday.
