Volleyball Recap: Islands Comes Up Short

Islands and Oconee County squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Islands had to settle for second. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the first time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss on Saturday.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-12, 25-4.

Islands' defeat dropped their record down to 20-13. As for Oconee County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 36-13 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Oconee County beat Islands by a score of 3-0 later that day.
