Volleyball Recap: Battery Creek Dolphins vs. Hanahan Hawks
Battery Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Hanahan Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.
The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Hanahan scored at least 20 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-23, 22-25, 25-20.
Logan Bradham paced Battery Creek's offense, picking up 18 kills. Bradham got some help from Jaime Maldonado and his 32 assists. Finally, Jeremiah Rivers kept Battery Creek's defense grounded, leading the team with six blocks.
