Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Palatka). They were the clear victor by an 88-62 margin over the Interlachen Rams on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Panthers have posted since December 3, 2024.

Several Rams players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Devon Williams, who went 8 of 20 on his way to 23 points and three steals. Williams is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dante Astin, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten boards.

Palatka's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Interlachen, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Palatka Panthers challenge the Wildwood Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Interlachen, they and Destin will face off at 3:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Interlachen is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.2 points per game this season.
