Brayden Myovela Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, Maize got the W thanks in part to Brayden Myovela playing the best football he has all season. Myovela rushed for 98 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also threw for 185 yards and two touchdowns on only 17 passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Maize's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4. Myovela and Maize will challenge Valley Center at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Another Game with at Least 116 Rushing Yards from Arieus Finley
Derby was led to victory by Arieus Finley, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Finley's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 116 rushing yards.
The victory for Derby keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Finley and Derby will be playing at home against Maize South at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Derby was led to victory by Da?Saahn Brame, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Brame picked up 98 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 50 yards.
