The Academy of the Holy Cross is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Paul VI. The Tartans were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Panthers. The Tartans' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

The Academy of the Holy Cross got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-23, 30-28.

Emme Wolfe paced The Academy of the Holy Cross' offense, picking up 14 kills. Wolfe got some help from Vivian Blue and her 21 assists. Kate Bickel controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

The Academy of the Holy Cross' victory bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Paul VI, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 7-1.
