Softball Recap: Elton Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Elton's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Crowley Gent on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gent this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 24-5 back in February.

Elton has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Crowley, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Elton will welcome South Cameron at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Indians will need to watch out since the Tarpons have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches. As for Crowley, they will be playing at home against Abbeville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
