Even though they lost, West Jordan kept the net locked down and finished the game with 15 blocks. That's the most blocks they've posted since back in October of 2023.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Kearns, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They blew past Granger 3-0 on Thursday.
Kearns never let Granger on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-19, 25-19.
West Jordan's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 7-4. As for Kearns, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-6.
West Jordan beat Kearns 3-1 in their previous meeting back in October of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Jordan since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
