Recap: Dunmore Bucks vs. Southern Columbia Area Tigers
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Dunmore Bucks, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They took a serious blow against the Tigers on Friday, falling 39-7. Dunmore's loss signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.
It was another big night for Garrett Garcia, who rushed for 189 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries for Southern Columbia Area. Another player making a difference was Louden Murphy, who rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries.
Dunmore's loss dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Southern Columbia Area, they pushed their record up to 14-1 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.
Dunmore does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Southern Columbia Area will square off against Westinghouse at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Westinghouse is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
