Basketball Recap: Lake Country Classical Academy Drops Highest Score of Season Against Rockford FIRE Homeschool

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lake Country Classical Academy). They snuck past the Rockford FIRE HomeSchool FIRE with a 72-68 victory on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Sentinels sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Lake Country Classical Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jude Kolstad led the charge by putting up 22 points in addition to eight steals and five assists. Kolstad has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Low, who posted 22 points along with eight boards and three steals.

Lake Country Classical Academy's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.7 points per game. As for Rockford FIRE HomeSchool, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Lake Country Classical Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Milwaukee Arts at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th. As for Rockford FIRE HomeSchool, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-44 loss against Christian Life on the 9th.
