Basketball Recap: Nicholas County Takes a Loss

Nicholas County suffered their biggest defeat since February 14th on Monday. They were beaten by the George Rogers Clark Cardinals 87-56. The loss continues a trend for the Bluejackets in their meetings with the Cardinals: they've now lost seven in a row.

Nicholas County's defeat dropped their record down to 21-11. As for George Rogers Clark, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-5 record this season.

Nicholas County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for George Rogers Clark, they will take on Montgomery County in a tournament on Wednesday.
