Volleyball Game Preview: Limestone Rockets vs. Canton Little Giants

Limestone has gone a perfect 10-0 against Canton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Rockets will look to defend their home court against the Little Giants at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Limestone has three straight victories, Canton has 12 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

If Pekin wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Limestone, they should've done a better job of containing Khloe Stear. The Rockets walked away with a 2-0 win over the Dragons on Tuesday with plenty of help from Stear, who had 15 digs and three assists. She has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 12 times she's played.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Canton came up short against Pekin on Thursday and fell 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-18.

Limestone's victory bumped their record up to 32-2. As for Canton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-24.

Limestone beat Canton 2-0 in their previous matchup back in September. Will the Rockets repeat their success, or do the Little Giants have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
