Baseball Game Preview: Liberty Ranch Hawks vs. Bradshaw Christian Pride

For the second straight game, Liberty Ranch will face off against Bradshaw Christian. The Hawks will head out to take on the Pride at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Liberty Ranch 2.8, Bradshaw Christian 1.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Liberty Ranch's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Tuesday's struggle, when Bradshaw Christian hitters got past them. The Hawks lost 10-3 to the Pride on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Hawks have suffered since April 18, 2024.

For Bradshaw Christian's part, Ethan Rickert was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Rickert has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk in eight consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
