Soccer Recap: Ballantyne Ridge's Undefeated Season over After Three Games + How To Watch

After flying high against West Charlotte last Wednesday, Ballantyne Ridge came back down to earth. Wolves lost 5-1 to the Hough Huskies on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Ballantyne Ridge can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while Hough are ranked 17th).

Ballantyne Ridge's goal came courtesy of Dominik Danko, who's now up to four this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Ballantyne Ridge fell to 1-1-1. As for Hough, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Ballantyne Ridge didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 4-1 win against Lee County on the 22nd. As for Hough, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 9-2 victory against Northern Guilford on the 22nd.
