For the second straight game, Wauconda will face off against Grayslake Central. The Bulldogs will challenge the Rams at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. Wauconda is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.1 runs per game this season.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Wauconda and Grayslake Central had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Bulldogs fell 10-5 to the Rams on Wednesday. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Wauconda saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Murphy, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI, one run, and one double. Ryan Fostiak was another, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Grayslake Central is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Wauconda, their loss dropped their record down to 16-13.
