Recap: Damonte Ranch Mustangs vs. Reed Raiders
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bishop Manogue, the Damonte Ranch Mustangs were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 58-32 margin over Reed. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Damonte Ranch has posted since November 25, 2023.
Damonte Ranch's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jazmine Monges led the charge by scoring nine points along with five rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Kylee Moscove, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Damonte Ranch has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-10 record this season. As for Reed, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.
Damonte Ranch will head out on the road to face off against Carson at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Reed, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Reno at 12:30 p.m.
