Sadly, Richland is still looking for their first win of the season after six contests. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 19-1 walloping at the hands of the Iberia Rangers on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Richland of the 12-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.
Richland saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Phoenix Johnson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.
Richland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Iberia, the win for them keeps them at an undefeated 17-0.
