Invest Collegiate Imagine's loss ends three-game winning streak at home

Invest Collegiate Imagine have been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 64-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Asheville T on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Invest Collegiate Imagine of the 56-44 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2023.
Despite the loss, Invest Collegiate Imagine saw an underclassman step up: Lucy Skierczynski scored 35 points. That was a full 64.8% of Invest Collegiate Imagine's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Maya Harrison, who scored 13 points.
Invest Collegiate Imagine's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-3. As for Asheville T, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Invest Collegiate Imagine will head out on the road to face off against the at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Asheville T does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
