Softball Recap: Foresthill Wildfires vs. Denair Coyotes
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Foresthill walked away with it. They skirted past the Denair Coyotes 7-6. Winning may never get old, but the Wildfires sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Lynnsey Drone spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered six runs (all of which were unearned) on two hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Ashtyn Keon was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Fallon Parks, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
Foresthill was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .387 or higher in three consecutive games.
Foresthill's record is now 11-5. As for Denair, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-10.
