Nipomo is 9-0-1 against Orcutt Academy since January of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Nipomo Titans will take on the Orcutt Academy Spartans at 3:00 p.m. Nipomo is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.1 goals per game this season.

Nipomo is headed into the matchup having not lost since the second and will look to keep things rolling. They never let Morro Bay onto the board and left with a 4-0 victory on Tuesday. That's two games straight that the Titans have won by exactly four goals.

They hit Morro Bay with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Roman Cortez (2), Juan Diego Zarate, and Casey Lemus.

Meanwhile, Orcutt Academy fell victim to Cabrillo and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 4-0 to the Conquistadores.

Nipomo is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-6-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those five games. As for Orcutt Academy, they dropped their record down to 1-14 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Nipomo took their win against Orcutt Academy in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a conclusive 10-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Nipomo since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
