Mason entered their tilt with Lebanon on Saturday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Warriors.

One reason for the win was Mason's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-21, 25-19.

Tomas Amaya paced Mason's offense, picking up nine kills. Amaya got some help from Linas Binkis and his 19 assists. Binkis was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Braydon Crockett, who had 11 digs. Crockett has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times he's played. Anthony McCoy was another key player, getting nine assists and five digs.

Mason's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. As for Lebanon, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-2 record.

Mason didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Lakota East on the 8th. As for Lebanon, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Northmont on the 7th.
