Mid-Buchanan won the last time they faced West Platte and things went their way on Thursday too. The Dragons were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bluejays. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Dragons.

While Mid-Buchanan won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-15, 25-21.

Tatum Moss paced Mid-Buchanan's offense, picking up 20 kills. Moss got some help from Myia Dillman and her 42 assists. Finally, Devyn Admire kept Mid-Buchanan's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Mid-Buchanan's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 17-10-4. As for West Platte, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-13-2.

Coming up, Mid-Buchanan will be playing at home against Lawson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Platte, they will welcome University Academy Charter at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
