After soaring to five goals the game before, Catholic was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They fell just short of the First Flight Nighthawks by a score of 2-1. Catholic's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Kate Marchesi, who's now up to ten this season.

Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for First Flight, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-3-1.

Coming up, Catholic will be playing at home against Norfolk Collegiate at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for First Flight, they are taking a road trip to challenge Hertford County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. First Flight will be up against Hertford County's rather soft defense (which has allowed 9.25 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
