It was a good run, but Von Steuben unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 2-0 to the Taft Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in April.

Von Steuben's loss dropped their record down to 13-18. As for Taft, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 25-7.

Looking ahead, Von Steuben will face off against Payton College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Taft, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Lane Tech on the 22nd.
