Basketball Game Preview: Walled Lake Western Warriors vs. Lakeland Eagles

Walled Lake Western and Lakeland are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2021, but not for long. The Walled Lake Western Warriors will venture away from home to challenge the Lakeland Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Walled Lake Western has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Walled Lake Western is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They fell 55-45 to South Lyon East on Friday. The Warriors have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Lakeland played in conference for the first time on Friday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Kettering 48-45.

Walled Lake Western's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lakeland, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Walled Lake Western beat Lakeland 60-51 in their previous matchup back in February. The rematch might be a little tougher for Walled Lake Western since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
