Basketball Recap: Pensacola Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Pensacola Christian Academy lost against West Florida Baptist Academy back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Pensacola Christian Academy Warriors had to suffer through a 66-24 loss at the hands of the West Florida Baptist Academy Conquerors. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-14.

West Florida Baptist Academy was led to victory by Bryse Burkett and Olivia Pearce. Burkett went 7-for-15 to rack up 25 points and five steals, while Pearce dropped a double-double with 13 points and 15 boards. Burkett's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 17 points. Makenna Enfinger was another key player, putting up ten points and three steals.

Pensacola Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for West Florida Baptist Academy, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 25-5.

As of now, neither Pensacola Christian Academy nor West Florida Baptist Academy have any future games scheduled.
