The Benjamin Franklin Electrons entered their tilt with the Martin Luther King Cougars with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Benjamin Franklin took their game on the road on Thursday with ease, bagging a 88-57 victory over Martin Luther King. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Benjamin Franklin has managed all season.
Benjamin Franklin's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kneco Hill, who scored 26 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hill has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Soukare Fane, who scored 21 points.
Despite the loss, Martin Luther King saw an underclassman step up: Benito Scott scored 29 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Makhai Robinson, who scored 12 points.
Benjamin Franklin pushed their record up to 10-2 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.0 points per game. As for Martin Luther King, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.

As for Martin Luther King, they will stay at home for another game and welcome High School of the Future at 3:15 p.m. on January 23rd.
