Soccer Game Preview: Twelve Bridges vs. Roseville

The Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos will square off against the Roseville Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Twelve Bridges' last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Twelve Bridges is headed into Friday's following a draw, the team's first since December 7. They and Placer finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Roseville waltzed into their game on Wednesday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. Their defense stepped up to hand the Miners a 3-0 shutout. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 151st, while the Miners are ranked 928th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Roseville hit Nevada Union with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jason Gorovyy, Lucca Santos, and Jude Navarro.

Roseville's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those six matches. With that draw, Twelve Bridges' record moves to 3-9-2.
