Baseball Recap: East Hill Christian Comes Up Short

East Hill Christian lost against Central Christian back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles came up short against the Saints, falling 28-1. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Charlie Hall was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-1. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged two or more in each of the last four games he's played. Jax Adamson was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

East Hill Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Central Christian, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-6.

East Hill Christian will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Gulf Pointe Latin at 4:30 p.m. on the 11th. As for Central Christian, they will square off against Trinitas Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Central Christian's pitchers better be ready for this one: Trinitas Christian has averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season.
