Centerville is 8-2 against Union City since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Centerville Bulldogs will take on the Union City Indians at 7:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Centerville has seven straight victories, Union City has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Centerville will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Franklin County, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Centerville put the hurt on Franklin County with a sharp 72-51 win on Friday. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 114th, while the Wildcats are ranked 265th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Union City came up short against Mississinawa Valley on Saturday and fell 53-44.

Centerville pushed their record up to 14-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points over those games. As for Union City, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.

Everything went Centerville's way against Union City in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as Centerville made off with a 76-53 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Centerville since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
