Basketball Recap: Northview Academy Comes Up Short

Northview Academy lost against Carter back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Northview Academy Cougars lost 69-46 to the Carter Green Hornets. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Zion Oliver continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Carter, going 14-for-22 on his way to 29 points and five boards. Oliver is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last 19 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Lincoln Tummel, who posted six points and six rebounds.

Northview Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Carter, their win bumped their record up to 23-9.

Northview Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 67-66 loss against Cocke County on the 25th. As for Carter, they have also already played their next game, a 79-72 victory against Fulton on the 25th.
