Softball Recap: Carlisle County Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Carlisle County's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Ballard Memorial Bombers on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Comets in their meetings with the Bombers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Carlisle County's record is now 1-9. As for Ballard Memorial, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-4.

Coming up, Carlisle County will square off against Hickman County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Ballard Memorial, they will challenge John Hardin at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
