Chatham has gone 8-2 against Altavista recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Chatham Cavaliers will head out on the road to face off against the Altavista Colonels at 7:00 p.m. Chatham has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Chatham is headed into the match after thoroughly thrashing Dan River: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Chatham blew Dan River out of the water with a 60-27 final score. The Cavaliers pushed the score to 46-20 by the end of the third, a deficit the Wildcats had little chance of recovering from.

Altavista fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They blew past Nelson County 43-22 on Friday.

Chatham has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points over those games. As for Altavista, their victory bumped their record up to 6-16.

Everything came up roses for Chatham against Altavista in their previous matchup back in January, as the team secured a 66-38 win. In that game, Chatham amassed a halftime lead of 40-16, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
